Lokmata Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar: Source of Inspiration

Organized on the occasion of 300th birth anniversary of Lokmata Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar
The workshop was inaugurated with the worship of Maa Saraswati.
In her welcome address, the Principal of the college, Dr. Mamta Chandrashekhar said that in the program 'Atithi Devo Bhava', Hon'ble Shrimant Uday Singh Raje, Captain Meera Siddharth Dave, special speaker Dr. Mala Singh Thakur, Shobha Tai made their dignified presence as special guests. Everyone was welcomed by the Principal.
The program received the blessings of Dr. Ramesh Chandra Dixit, Additional Director Higher Education Indore Division.
Captain Meera Siddharth Dave, in her address, explained the military strategy and security management of Lokmata Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar and said that winning the war is important, not fighting. We should be alert towards the enemy.
In his speech, Shrimant Uday Singh Raje said that students should acquire knowledge and be humble.
The special speaker of the program, Dr. Mala Singh Thakur, while praising the contribution of Lokmata Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar in women empowerment, said that India is the land of brave women. Dr. Mamta Chandrashekhar, who was presiding over the program, told the students that if we want to progress in life, then we should take the life of Lokmata Devi Ahilya Bai as a source of inspiration. On the occasion of the 300th birth anniversary of Lokmata Devi Ahilya Bai, certificates were given to the winning students in speech competition, poster competition, question forum competition, rangoli competition. Program coordinator Dr. SS Bhatia, administrative officer Dr. DK Gupta, Dr. Mahesh Gupta, Dr. Chhaya Vadhaulikar, Dr. Jyoti Taneja, program secretary Dr. Padma Patel, Dr. Geeta Chaudhary, Dr. Saishwari Kol, Shanta Chauhan and all the professors of the college were present. Students of NCC and NSS were present.

On the occasion of the 300th birth anniversary of Lokmata Devi Ahilya, a book discussion program was organized in the college. In which Dr. Mamta Chandrashekhar's book "Yogendra Devi Ahilyabai Holkar" was discussed. Retired professor Dr. Kala Joshi also discussed the book. Dr. DK Gupta, Dr. Padma Patel, girish Gelodia also discussed the book. The author of this book is college principal Dr. Mamta Chandra Shekhar, she also expressed her views on reading this book. This program was organized by the head of the history department, Dr. Sandhya Bharagava ‎20.05.25

Principal Dr. Mamta Chandrashekhar Madam, who is striving to establish educational quality, gave an important lecture on the importance of values in life today on 1st May 2025 in the series of special lectures organized on the first day of every month. This lecture will prove to be a milestone in the all-round development of the students of our college. Along with this, the Principal received the views of the college professors in written form to brainstorm on important questions related to life. 01.05.25

Celebration of Women's Day 12-03-25

Celebrated the "Women's Day" on 12-03-2025 with a oath to shun (leave) plastic to save the environment. The program was celebrated with the initiative of the Principal, Prof. Mamta Chandrashekhar. All the lady staff of the College were gifted steel water bottles.
