SCHOLARSHIPS

Financial assistance in the form of Scholarships to the students from economically and socially weaker sections is being provided by the College according to the Central Government and MP State Government rules.

Types of Scholarships-

(1) Post metric Scholarship- This scholarship can be availed by SC and ST students who are a domicile of Madhya Pradesh. The SC student whose family income is less than 6 lakhs can take benefit under this scheme, whereas for ST students there is no such bar.

(2) MP Government Welfare Schemes-

a) Gaon ki Beti: This is a state government scholarship of Rs. 5000/- given to a girl student who stays and passes her 12th in a rural area with first division marks.

b) Vikramadiya Scheme: Under this scheme students from general category who are living below poverty line with father's income below 42,000/- per annum are exempted from fee.

c) Pratibha kiran Scheme: A Financial assistance of Rs. 5000/- per annum is given to a girl student with first division in 12th from an urban area school and coming from below poverty line category.

d) Research Scholarship for SC/ST/ students: This financial assistance is given to SC and ST students of Madhya Pradesh who are pursuing their PhD and whose family income is less than 6 lakhs for SC students, there is no such bar for ST students.

e) Scholarships for Differently abled Students: A student of Madhya Pradesh with first division marks in class XII and 40% disability can take benefit of this scheme.

f) OBC and Minority Scholarship Scheme- A domicile of Madhya Pradesh with 50% marks in the previous exam and family income less than 2 Lakhs can take benefit of this scholarship.

g) Unified Scholarship Scheme: A student who is domicile of Madhya Pradesh with family income not more than Rs. 54,000 is eligible for the scholarship who fulfils such qualifications.

Minimum Qualification for PG 55% in UG
Minimum Qualification for UG 60% in Higher Secondary

Freeship: Medhavi Yojna

Madhya Pradesh Government introduced ' Medhavi Yojna' ( Medhavi Scheme) in the session 2017-18 for students who have passed their class XII exams from Madhya Pradesh Secondary Board, Bhopal with 70% marks and CBSE/ ICSE, Delhi with 85% marks. The student's family income should be less than 6 lakh per annum to be eligible for freeship under the scheme.
