Youth Red Cross
The College has a Youth Red Cross Unit running under the guidance of Dr. Renu Sinha.
Though no hard and fast rules are laid down regarding Youth Red Cross activities,
the programmes as far as possible include the following -
1. Promotion of health and hygiene. Service to others such as providing First Aid.
2. Eradication of social evils such as Drug De-addiction, HIV/AIDS awareness, Female
Feticide, Dowry, Illiteracy etc.
3. Promotion of Voluntary Blood Donation, Organ Donation & Eye Donation Movement.
4. Protection of environment and natural resources.
The Youth Red Cross unit implements a number of activities by involving the Youth
Red Cross volunteers.
